If you were aware of every problem that disturbed your family or your friends or both, you'd have so many stress pimples, you won't need the newspaper for games. You can play join the dots on your face! And if your parents knew every thing you did, hell would come to earth seeking your parents for its king and queen! So yes, the title does hold true.
But not always.
Ignorance is not ok while you watch your friend/relative/neighbor/stranger turn into a ticking time bomb ready to burst into flames at the slightest touch! (The pun is intended)
Ignorance is not ok while you spend your time under a rock and decide to come out with guns blazing when you hear the screams and start shooting at anyone and everyone you assume to be a threat!
Ignorance is not ok when you think being of a certain race, religion, gender, or whatever other name you've found to differentiate everyone else from you, is wrong just because you were told so!
And Ignorance is not ok while you sit safely within the confines of your home complaining that NO ONE is doing anything to change the world. Because that NO ONE includes you! That No One should not be waiting for Katniss to come save him/her!
We are NOT in the Hunger Games, You are not Peeta and this is not a movie that you can just skip because you dislike it! People are actually dying because of Ignorance!
So the least you could do is speak.
